The City of Roxton Community Development Committee hosts annual spring and fall festivals.
The Roxton EX Students Association hosts the annual July the Fourth Parade and Fireworks Show and the Christmas Parade. This group hosts fun events throughout the year to raise funds for the July Fourth fireworks mega show.
The CRCDC You've Got Friends Committee hosts monthly pot luck dinners usually featuring an informative speaker on local interests, a fun game, and prizes. It;s a great way to meet your neighbors.
The Northeast Texas Trail (NETT) is the biggest year round attraction in town. This trail stretching from Clarksville to New Boston at 133 miles is the longest biking/hiking trail in Texas. The trail passes through many charming towns--Roxton being one of them--and peaceful rural landscapes. If you are riding the trail and planning an overnight camping, you are welcome to set up at the pavillion on the south end of downtown. Restrooms are available at the Chaparral Museum on the north end of town. There are also 3 Bed and Breakfast homes available.
